Multi lingual sites with Joomla!

In between development of Joomla! 1.5 and it's extensions has reached a point where building multi lingual sites is easy and comfortable.

Shop Virtuemart 1.1.0 native with Joomla! 1.5

On April 1st 2008 it happened:

Virtuemart 1.1.0 stable has been released as GA.

Over here you see a demo shop using it.

Whoever wants to offer high quality service is not able to wait to get programs served. He must have a look at programs for himself. To be able to have knowledge about upcoming products we work with selected developer versions. Opensource products allow much deeper insights than those closed source products with proprietary licenses.

We are in favour of open source products for several reasons:

Not only smaller license costs, fixing bugs and individual adoption is possible. Using products with proprietary licenses this is either not possible or it takes bloaden applications and a lot of money.

Developer versions are error prune for sure and not suitable for productive environment. For our customers our work with such versions ensures much better knowledge of end product because of need to search and fix errors. We know open source products used much better than it's possible with each product being delivered with proprietary license.

Even while the new Joomla!-Version has several error like it's normal with new versions we are testing it's developer version in addition to other development activities by us. Currently we added Virtuemart which is a well known eCommerce extension.

Switch language to german to get more info, please.
